What is Dental Sedation?
Dental sedation is a medication that can help patients feel more comfortable during dental procedures. We use this when a particular procedure is going to be invasive and time consuming, or if you're experiencing anxiety around your appointment.
It is our mission to do everything we can to help you feel relaxed and comfortable during your appointment. In addition to dental sedation, our team will work at your pace, take breaks when you need it, and provide calm reassurance.
Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Our clinic in Kitchener offers nitrous oxide, otherwise known as laughing gas. Nitrous oxide is inhaled through the nose, and keeps you calm while you remain awake and able to communicate. It has the ability to lessen anxiety, increase pain threshold, reduce gag reflexes and make time feel as if it is passing more quickly.
